Champions Behavior Expectations
Our expectation is that you will behave like the champion you are! We believe that you can succeed, and we are here to help you do that. In order for you to learn as much as you can, we have certain rules that must be followed. We have high expectations for positive behavior, and offenses will be dealt with accordingly:
Level 1: talking, out of seat, electronic device out (phone or tablet), horseplay, profanity toward a student, disrupting class, throwing paper or other objects, failure to obey staff, tardy to class, disrespectful to staff member (includes calling them by first name)
Level 2: verbal bullying, walking out of the classroom, profanity toward a staff member, any Level 1 offense that becomes habitual
First Warning - verbal warning from teacher/staff, redirection
Second Warning - behavior mark, private conversation w/student, redirection
3 behavior marks = lunch detention
1 lunch detention + one more behavior mark in one class period = Tab Out to another class
3 lunch detentions = parent phone call
